Top 10 Procrastinating Original Television Series: #10 The Brady Bunch
A Procrastinating TV show does not refer to the most critically acclaimed, rewarded, or watched shows. But it refers to the shows that had such a profound effect on the viewer that it led to endless hours of procrastinating in multiple industries (TV, Movie, Videogame, Books, Comic Books, Action Figures, etc). Unfortunately, due to the lack of technology, many older shows are not to be found on this list. Also please note this is for original TV series only. Cartoons (sorry Simpsons), Game Shows, Original Comics, and Original Movies are not included in this list.
I wasn’t alive during the original run of this show, but I can tell you that for those times the Brady’s created a lot of reasons to spend time procrastinating. Multiple albums and songs were made by the Brady Kids during their 5 season run on television. Not to mention 2 comic books, trading cards, paper dolls, and a board game. The television show over the years has lead to numerous spin offs, tv movies, and a cartoon. The show still can be found on television as reruns. And two movies were produced in the 90’s with a new cast. If the two movies didn’t demonstrate the procrastinating longevity of the original series, maybe Florence Henderson’s selection to Dancing with the Stars will. Even in 2010, people still want more of those Brady’s.
